Waking up

Most mornings, I get to put you in bed with me and we snuggle until we are both awake. Some mornings dad will put you in bed with me after changing you. Mornings with you are my favorite! You are so sweet, wide awake and so smiley! You talk a lot in the mornings. I love you!

Today you also started holding you binky with your hands, it's adorable!

Lauren's birthday!

Today is Lauren's 28th birthday! We went to the Ogden Christmas box House to meet with a lady about what books are needed at the donation center. It was really need to talk about the kind of programs they have. The Christmas box House is an emergency short-term place for children to go when they need to be taken out of a dangerous or abusive situation at home. It gives them a chance to transition from home life to foster care or in some circumstances back to home life. By raising $1,100, we were able to donate $1,652 worth of Usborne books. I am really hoping to be able to do more book drives and fundraisers for similar organizations in the future. 

After lunch at Dylans, we went swimming at moms house. Lauren invited some friends over with their kids. It's always a fun time to relax in the backyard and enjoy the sun. Kate likes the water whether it's a bath or the pool. I'm excited for next year when Kate is big enough to get a little sunshine and start learning to swim. 

Kate got to try a bumbo today. She's not so sure she likes it! But she sure looks cute! This is Kate's (mom's) favorite bow.

Kate is always happy to see daddy when he gets home from a school! She was talking up a storm when he held her.

 

That night we went to a dance class with all the girls and it was a blast! I'm terrible, but we had fun!
